Fusion360
Autodesk Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling software used for product design, engineering and manufacturing, and can be used to create designs for 3D printing. Fusion 360 can also be used with both the vinyl cutter and the laser cutter by exporting a .dxf file. Autodesk for students and educators when using a binghamton.edu email address.
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based graphic design software used for creating illustrations, layouts, and precise design elements, and can be used to prepare files for vinyl and laser cutting. It is a subscription-based program available on the computers in the MakerLab.
