The posterized version has enough contrast to make the duck look 3D on a flat surface
To engrave a photo with the laser cutter, you first need to convert your image to black and white, then posterize the values to a rangto greater than 8 but less than 30. This helps create a simpler range of contrast for the laser to engrave.
