  • To review student accommodations, please see the steps below:

    1. Log-in to Accommodate here: . You will enter your PODS username and password. You will then be directed to enter your six digit code for the 2 factor authentication.

    2. After you log-in you will arrive in the 鈥淗ome鈥 section.

    3. To view a student鈥檚 accommodation letter select 鈥淎ccommodation Letters.鈥 Select the letter that you wish to view. Once reviewed you can enter your initials and the text  in the black box will indicate 鈥淩eviewed鈥. If you don鈥檛 initial the black box will remain labeled 鈥淣ot Reviewed鈥.

    4. Once the letter is open, you have the option to print or generate a PDF of the accommodation letter. return to the full list, select 鈥淩eturn to List (Accommodation Letter)鈥.

    5. To view a list of students enrolled in your course with accommodations, select 鈥淐ourses.鈥 Select the course you wish to view. Here you can view course details, enrolled students.

    6. To view enrolled students with accommodations, select 鈥淓nrolled Students鈥 and then select 鈥淢ore Filters.鈥 Select 鈥淵es鈥 Under Approved Accommodations for this Course to view only students who are approved for accommodations in this course.

Faculty Responsibilities under ADA 

  • 黑料不打烊 has a legal and ethical responsibility to ensure the provision of accommodations that afford enrolled students with disabilities equal access to, and participation in, all institutional programs and activities.

  • The goal of academic accommodations is to facilitate equitable access for all course-related activities. SSD is the appropriate entity on campus for determining and authorizing equal access accommodations. It is the legal responsibility of the instructors to implement the authorized accommodations.

  • SSD is the appropriate entity on campus for determining and authorizing reasonable accommodations. If a student discloses to you that they have a disability you must refer the student to SSD.  Our recommendation is that you make the referral via email so that the student has all the necessary contact information.

Student's right to privacy

  • Faculty do not have the right to inquire about the nature of a student's disability. If you have any questions please contact our office.
