NYSED Central/Western Region Community Schools Technical Assistance Center

The mission of the NYSED Central/Western Community Schools Technical Assistance Center is to build upon the existing strengths of school districts to remove barriers to learning and support the whole child through personalized support and guidance, professional development, and the creation of Communities of Practice that advance the community schools strategy. Districts in the Central/Western region have access to:

  • 1:1 support. In-person or virtual guidance to support the implementation of community school strategies.
  • Networking and collaboration opportunities. Connect with other stakeholders and schools who are implementing community school strategies.
  • Professional development. Explore relevant topics through live and asynchronous webinars and trainings.
