In a dual advising model, students work with two advisors: a faculty member within your major department, and a Harpur Academic Advisor. The relationship between the student, faculty, and Harpur Advisors offers an unique opportunity to design and foster a personalized advising experience. This collaborative model allows students to develop their educational and professional goals with the support of multiple campus partners.
STUDENTS SHOULD SEE A FACULTY ADVISOR FOR:

- Questions about how a major or minor are appearing on DegreeWorks

Specific questions regarding major/minor requirements, course sequencing and policies

Transfer credit evaluations for coursework counting toward the major or minor
- Broad questions about career options in their field of study
