About the MakerLab

The MakerLab at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is an innovation-focused space equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, 3D scanners, and virtual reality. It provides an accessible entry point for prototyping and digital fabrication, welcoming users from all disciplines and experience levels. The MakerLab provides access to advanced tools and design consultations to support collaboration across all departments. As a curriculum-driven facility, the MakerLab supports courses, research, and other academic projects that are available to students, faculty, and staff, while encouraging exploration, skill development, and creative problem-solving.

Mission

The MakerLab at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Libraries is dedicated to enriching academic experiences by integrating emerging technologies into research, coursework and creative projects. As a curriculum-driven and inclusive space, we support students and faculty in developing prototypes, exploring digital fabrication and advancing interdisciplinary learning. By connecting creation with discovery, the MakerLab fosters innovation, encourages diverse perspectives and contributes to the evolving role of the modern academic library.
