State of Readiness Master Class and Workshop with Joseph F. Paris, Jr.
Saturday, Juy 12: Individuals interested in healthcare systems and process improvement are invited to enjoy this workshop from Joseph F. Paris Jr. Organizations talk about being disruptive 鈥 or being disrupted 鈥 and that they have to become more innovative to compete in the modern 鈥渞eal-time鈥 marketplace. But scant few organizations understand that being prepared, being in a state of readiness, is critical to their being successful 鈥 and that there is great peril without having or even understanding their organizational capacity and capabilities. Students will learn from Joseph Paris about the challenges facing organizations today and the approaches necessary to be successful. All students will receive a copy of Paris鈥 recently released book, 鈥淪tate of Readiness, Operational Excellence as Precursor to becoming the High- Performance Organization.鈥 Plus-ones or small groups are welcome (seating is subject to availability). .
CoCo CRISPIE is a student seminar series under CoCo, and we are coming back for our second semester. CRISPIE stands for Complexity Research Initiative for Student Presentations and Informal Exchanges, and is a place for students to share research ideas, practice talks, and to discuss complexity in an informal, peer-to-peer setting (no faculty at meetings). And yes, we have pizza :)
We will be meeting in person, but a Zoom link will be shared for those who wish to participate remotely!
If you are interested, please fill out this to pick which day you would prefer to meet and so we can get an early gauge on participation.
